Upon completion of this conference you will be prepared to organize an election year program to educate parishioners "so that they can examine the positions of candidates and make choices based on Catholic Moral and Social Teachings." (Catholics in Political Life, USCCB, January 2006.)

  • What are the obstacles in educating Parishioners in CST?

  • How do parishioners view CST?

  • In what ways are CST incorporated into federal policy and where are they excluded?

  • What is the role of clergy and parishioners in Faithful Citizenship?

  • Saving our future requires tough decisions today and it's about values and people.

  • What model can we take home to educate our parishioners?

You may even want to bring your Priests, Deacons or Lay Ministers with you for this one! Make a copy of the registration for them to complete and submit by mail, or fax/email (followed by a check). Sorry - we can't take credit cards.

Do you have children or grandchildren coming with you? No problem. The Children's Program includes plans for a "make-believe" "Drive-in" movie at the hotel with a pizza party at the simulated snack bar, a close-up tour of the Zoo with a picnic lunch at the Gazebo and a tour of the Pueblo Children's Museum.

For those coming to Pueblo early, there's a Train Ride with Gourmet Lunch that departs Canon City at 12:30pm for a two-hour ride through the Royal Gorge. For those who are not in a hurry to leave on Thursday, there's dinner on the River Walk, Lake Pueblo or a Gourmet Dinner on the Royal Gorge Train.
