| Our mission... |
| We are a Christian Community bound together
by the Evangelical call found in the Gospel reading, Matthew
25:31-40. We strive to accomplish this mission by forming
community leadership and awareness within the parish through our
preaching, teaching, and coming together in prayer and
fellowship. We review the spiritual and earthly needs of
the greater community and world to determine our ability to be
involved and our resources to accomplish to the best of our
ability the ends demanded by the Gospel. |

HISTORY |
|
Our Lady of the Meadows is comprised
of approximately 1,200 households (4000 souls). Their mission statement, which
is based on Matthew’s Gospel, challenges parishioners to share of their lives
within their families, their neighborhoods, and with those not blessed with the
bounty found in most of OLM households.
The parish was founded in 1979
to serve an expanding southwest Pueblo suburban corridor. Anchored in the
Regency subdivision, OLM receives parishioners from as far away as Colorado
Springs and Cañon City.
