1)   At least six months prior to the planned wedding date engaged couples must meet with the pastor/ priest/ or designated minister to take the FOCCUS Inventory.  At that time they will set up a meeting for the FOCCUS Inventory review with the pastor/ priest.  The couple will also receive a registration form for Marriage Preparation sessions. 

2)  If the couple wants to attend the Deanery sponsored weekend class, they complete the
     registration form and return it along with the $60.00 fee to the Deanery Coordinator.
    (address is on the bottom of the registration form)  The couple should be registered for  
    Marriage Preparation instruction by the time they return for the FOCCUS review.  

3)   If the couple wants to attend the Parish sponsored Home Based sessions, they must contact a parish with Lead Couples, who will assist them in contacting the Lead Couple.  The engaged couple should then complete the registration form, which should be given to the parish sponsoring the program. The $50.00 fee is given to the parish for coverage of materials needed.  Again, the couple should be registered for Marriage Preparation instruction by the time they return for the FOCCUS review.  Home Based sessions require completion of eight hours of preparation time, divided in two hour sessions for four weeks.  Upon completion of the Home Based sessions, the Lead Couple will send a letter to the Deanery Coordinator stating the couple completed the sessions including both names of the couple, and their address.  At this time the Deanery Coordinator will register their completion and send them their certificate.
