Mission:  The Office of Lay Formation supports and assists lay formation programs in process, studies programs used in various dioceses throughout the country, and initiates new programs that encourage personal growth and prepare people for parish leadership.

Immigrant and Hispanic Ministries
Mission:  We, the Office of Immigrant and Hispanic Ministries of the Diocese of Pueblo, are called to promote an evangelizing model of Church that celebrates the diversity of cultures favoring integration.  Our staff offers resources and educational training in Spanish and English to young adults and adult lay Hispanics as well as to the Catholic inmate population and facilitates pastoral formation that develops Christian leadership committed to live the values of the Reign of God in Church and society.

Office of Lifelong Catechesis
Mission:  To provide catechists in the parish, home, school or college campus with support and training in their ministry to deepen knowledge of the faith and growth in intimacy with God with the understanding that this process lasts a lifetime.

Office of Worship
Mission:  The Office of Worship and Spiritual Life is to assist the Bishop and the People of God to implement the liturgical renewal of the Second Vatican Council within the context of the Local Church of the Diocese of Pueblo.  The director of this office serves as a resource for liturgical leadership, an educator for liturgical and catechumenate ministers and provides information and formation in the Sacramental Life of the parishes and their members.

The Resource Center has reference books, books, and videos in different Catechetical areas.  Each parish was issued a resource catalogue and to date there are still three of these available.  Videos may be checked out for 2 weeks, books may be checked out for 1 month.

The Resource Center is located in the Catholic Pastoral Center at 1001 N Grand Avenue, Pueblo CO 81003, (719) 544-9861 x121.  Generally it is open from 8-12 and 1-5 Monday through Friday.  It is advised to call ahead to make sure an item you might need is available.
